Married for Life

Primary Topic: Marriage Enrichment & Equipping

Married for Life is about encountering the life-transforming power of the gospel in the unpredictable journey of marriage.

Led by Pastor Jimmy Carter and his wife, Carrie, this class will delve into the fundamental keys every married couple needs in living our God's design for marriage. These keys transcend race, ethnicity, and location. It reveals the primary factor that defines both the struggles and the hope in every human relationship: communication and openness.

What common mistakes do we all make in marriage? We'll look at everyday realities of life in your home, offering a look into Biblical concepts and incredible resources of God’s grace through Jesus Christ.

Whether you’re preparing for marriage or have been married for many years, one thing is certain—no marriage is perfect. Because of this, every couple needs to reflect on their relationship through the lens of God’s Word. This class will guide you in doing just that.

Cost: $25.00 per couple (includes all materials)

Anxious Generation

Primary Topic: Parenting Adolescents

Anxous Generation is the chronicles of the generation-defining investigation into the collapse of youth mental health in the era of smartphones, social media, and big tech. Social Psychologists Josh Haidt shows how the “play-based childhood” began to decline in the 1980s, and how it was finally wiped out by the arrival of the “phone-based childhood” in the early 2010s.

Anxious Generation presents more than a dozen mechanisms by which this “great rewiring of childhood” has interfered with children’s social and neurological development, covering everything from sleep deprivation to attention fragmentation, addiction, loneliness, social contagion, social comparison, and perfectionism. He explains why social media damages girls more than boys and why boys have been withdrawing from the real world into the virtual world, with disastrous consequences for themselves, their families, and their societies.

IBC Lead Kids Pastor, Adam Bayne, combines this in depth study conducted with Biblical truths that will help and equip parents in raising their kids in the midst of these challenges. This study is applicable for all parents with all kids ages 18 and under.

Cost: $15.00 per person/couple (includes all material)

**Childcare for birth - Pre-K provided. Kids in Kindergarten - 5th grade will participate in our Sunday Nights iKids Grow, led by our iKids Staff.

Luke in the Land

Primary Topic: Study through Book of Luke (Women Only)

In our Bibles, we have four Gospels describing Jesus’s time on earth: Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. The land of Israel—the place Jesus walked and taught during His earthly ministry—is often referred to as the “fifth Gospel.”

Follow Kristi McLelland through Israel as we study snapshots from the Gospel of Luke to see where the stories of the Bible took place. Over 7 sessions, challenge the way you read the accounts of Jesus through teaching videos that take you to locations in Israel like Bethlehem, the Sea of Galilee, Gethsemane, Jerusalem, and the road to Emmaus. Along the way, you'll see how Jesus, the Messiah, brought His kingdom to earth for everybody.

  • Travel through Israel in teaching sessions filmed in Bethlehem, the Sea of Galilee, Jerusalem, and more to behold the gospel story in a whole new way
  • Gain a deeper understanding of stories of Jesus's life from a first-century point of view
  • Explore cultural and historical concepts that will give new perspective on well-known biblical stories
