Immanuel Baptist Church, led by Pastor Ron Edmondson, is based in Lexington, Kentucky, and has multiple locations across the Bluegrass.

Our Story

Immanuel Baptist Church was first founded in 1909 right here in Lexington, Kentucky. Over the past 100+ years, we’ve been growing like crazy. We now have three campuses across the Bluegrass and online services. Learn more about the deep-rooted history our church has.

Each Immanuel Baptist Church campus is a distinct local community in the greater Lexington, Kentucky area. They vary in size, demographics, and cultural aesthetics.  Each has its own story, its own leadership, and its own ministries. In deciding which congregation to join, we encourage you to start by visiting the one closest to you. Online  and TV campuses great options if you're not local or if you aren't able to attend church on Sunday but we don't recommend either as your sole source of community.

Our Mission

Immanuel Baptist Church exists to lead people to Jesus and equip disciples in their faith.

Our Strategy

GATHER - We create opportunities for people to come together for fellowship, unity and worship.


GROW - In smaller groups, we encourage deeper fellowship, the study of the Bible and disciple-making.


SERVE - As we grow in our relationship to Christ, we serve others in our church, community and world so we may boldly share the good news of the Gospel.
